Goldsky Starts Metallurgical Test Program at Barsele Gold Project
Goldsky Resources has commenced metallurgical test work on 345kg of composite samples from the Avan and Central zones of its Barsele project in Sweden. The samples have been dispatched to Alfred Knight in the United Kingdom for processing.
The 16-week testing program will evaluate crusher comminution, Bond rod and ball mill indices, gravity gold recovery, gold leach kinetics, and reagent detoxification requirements. Data gathered from these tests will provide technical inputs for the project’s resource update and its maiden Preliminary Economic Assessment, which is targeted for 2027.
“We are pleased to commence this metallurgical test program at the Barsele Project. This will be an important piece of information for our process as we move forward on the resource update at Barsele and the eventual publication of our maiden PEA report on the Barsele project in 2027”
— Russell Bradford, CEO
Goldsky recently consolidated 100% ownership of the Barsele project following the acquisition of the remaining 55% interest previously held by Agnico Eagle. The company plans to report the results of the metallurgical test program once they become available.
