Gorilla Gold Intersects 2.8m At 31.0g/t Au In Expanded Sovereign Footwall System

Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd has significantly expanded the high-grade footwall system at the Sovereign deposit within its Comet Vale Gold Project in Western Australia, with new drilling and geological reinterpretation stretching the mineralised trend to over 1 kilometre of strike length.
Recent drilling and re-sampled intervals returned high-grade gold intercepts within the footwall system, which sits approximately 40 metres into the footwall of the main lode at Sovereign. Standout assays include 2.8 metres at 31.0g/t gold from 379.1 metres in hole STEX226, located 600 metres along strike to the north and 50 metres up-dip of discovery hole STEX172.
Additional results include 0.6 metres at 86.2g/t gold from 99.4 metres in hole CVUG008, a previously unrecorded drill hole situated 400 metres north and 150 metres up-dip of STEX172, alongside 7.0 metres at 10.2g/t gold from 83.0 metres in hole STEX111A.
The emerging mineralised position sits outside the existing Mineral Resource Estimate at Sovereign of 410,000 ounces at 4.3g/t gold. The Comet Vale Project forms part of Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd's wider North Kalgoorlie Hub, which hosts a total resource base of 1,200,000 ounces at 3.7g/t gold.
“This is another exciting development at Sovereign, following on from the outstanding intercept of 9.3m @ 20.6g/t Au in STEX172 which heralded the discovery of a significant new high-grade footwall lode back in May. Since then, a combination of new drilling, a review of historical underground drilling data and a major geological reinterpretation has significantly expanded this high-grade position to over 1 kilometre of strike.”
“The latest result of 2.8m @ 31.0g/t Au is approximately 600 metres north of the original discovery intercept in STEX172, while our review of historical data has unearthed a previously unreported intercept of 0.6m @ 86.2g/t Au along the same emerging trend.”

Regional activity across the surrounding district also highlights ongoing exploration, with Resources & Energy Group Limited reported gold mineralisation, including 2 metres at 4.20 g/t gold from 152 metres, at its East Menzies gold project.
Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd also holds the Vivien gold project in Western Australia, where drilling has re-commenced alongside ongoing exploration at the North Kalgoorlie Hub. Gorilla Gold continues drilling across the North Kalgoorlie Hub targeting resource growth across multiple prospects at the Comet Vale Project.
