Great Atlantic Resources Corp. has expanded its land position in the Mount Pleasant area of southwestern New Brunswick by more than 6,000 hectares through the staking of three new mineral claims.

The newly secured ground—comprising claim numbers 12617, 12618 and 12619—partially surrounds the past-producing Mount Pleasant tungsten-molybdenum mine. The acquisition increases the footprint of the Southwest New Brunswick Tin-Tungsten Project to approximately 9,880 hectares across ten claims. Newly staked claim number 12617 is contiguous with the company's existing Pughole mineral claim, situated immediately west of the former mine site.

With tungsten firmly established as a strategic critical metal and secure supply a priority for Canada and its allies, we are very pleased to expand our position surrounding the former Mount Pleasant Mine at negligible cost through staking.”

President and CEO Christopher R. Anderson and Vice President of Exploration David Martin bring direct regional experience to the expanded tenure, having previously been involved with Geodex Mineral Ltd. and the advancement of the Sisson Tungsten-Molybdenum Project in New Brunswick.

Great Atlantic is compiling and reviewing historical exploration data for the newly expanded Mount Pleasant area claims and plans to provide further updates as work programs are finalised.
