HM Exploration Corp. has commenced borehole and surface Time-Domain Electromagnetic surveys at the Pilley’s Island Project in north-central Newfoundland.

Great Atlantic Resources Corp.'s option partner has contracted Crone Geophysics to carry out the geophysical work across the Lewis Pilley’s Project area. HM Exploration holds an option to earn a 100 per cent interest in the property.

The geophysical program begins with borehole TDEM measurements on drill holes from the Phase One program at the Clifford Jones (Bull Road) Zone. Upon completion of the borehole work, Crone Geophysics will execute a surface survey consisting of approximately 13 line-kilometres covering an area of roughly one square kilometre around the Phase One drill holes. Time-Domain Electromagnetics is widely used in volcanogenic massive sulphide exploration because conductive sulphide minerals produce measurable electromagnetic responses, assisting geologists in identifying subsurface conductors and evaluating size, geometry, depth, and continuity.

In March 2026, HM Exploration acquired an additional 20-square-kilometre mineral tenure, expanding the total project area to 42 square kilometres.

The borehole and surface EM data will help us evaluate their potential extensions and identify additional conductive targets that may represent massive sulphide mineralization. The collected survey data and subsequent interpretation will be reported upon completion. The findings will directly assist with drill hole planning for a follow-up Phase Two drill program scheduled for late 2026.
