Great Bear Exploration has identified more than 200 high-priority exploration targets across the Great Bear Project in the Northwest Territories, Canada, following an independent review by mineral targeting consultancy Resource Potentials.

The target generation work focused on copper, gold, silver, and iron oxide copper-gold-style mineralisation. Resource Potentials assimilated publicly available historical datasets as well as work completed in 2024 by White Cliff Minerals Ltd to identify geological and geophysical signatures prospective for large-scale mineral systems.

While earlier operational updates outlined contractor engagements and mobilisation preparations, the current review confirms a systematic, high-conviction pipeline of targets across the project area. The review highlighted dome and collapsed caldera structures as prime targets, alongside three main volcano complex target areas, including the historically overlooked Grouard Lake target in the southern part of the project.

Xcalibur Smart Mapping is in the final stages of mobilising its FALCON Airborne Gravity Gradiometer, with a planned magnetic and radiometric survey over the entire project area expected to start imminently to acquire high-resolution data over the volcano complex target areas. All targets will be advanced through field and geochemical sampling over the coming weeks.

Field crews and geochemical sampling teams will work alongside the upcoming airborne surveys to refine the targets ahead of planned drilling next spring.
