Great Boulder Resources Ltd has intersected high-grade gold mineralization in its first round of reverse circulation drilling at the Peak Hill Gold Project in Western Australia, returning assays up to 37.1g/t Au from the Durack deposit.

The initial results from the ongoing 40,000m campaign confirm the interpreted dip and strike of mineralisation within potential open pit mining areas. Early drilling at the Durack deposit returned 4m at 37.1g/t Au from 110m in hole GDRC017, alongside 23m at 2.22g/t Au from surface in hole GDRC010. Additional highlights from Durack include 10m at 6.40g/t Au from 116m and 4m at 10.4g/t Au from 147m in hole GDRC024.

At the Jubilee deposit, drilling defined several areas of high-grade mineralisation within existing resource domains. Highlights include 3m at 29.4g/t Au from 39m in hole GJRC030, 3m at 23.3g/t Au from 67m in hole GJRC016, and 2m at 33.6g/t Au from 107m in hole GJRC015.

The drilling also intersected shear-hosted gold within the Jubilee dolerite, a unit previously interpreted to be barren. This discovery points to potential resource growth and newly identified lodes within the unit.

“The shallow results at Jubilee, including those inside the internal dolerite unit, are also very exciting. We had assumed the dolerite to be barren, so any resources added there will reduce strip ratios and improve potential pit economics.”

Great Boulder acquired 100% of the Peak Hill Gold Project from Westgold Resources in July 2026 for total consideration of $54.4 million, comprising $25 million in cash and a 19.9% shareholding. Peak Hill is an historic high-grade production centre with past production exceeding 900,000 ounces of gold and a JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate of 481,000 ounces across five deposits.

To support development, the company secured an Ore Purchase Agreement with Westgold Resources to enable a capital-light pathway to production and cashflow by processing Peak Hill ore through regional processing infrastructure.

Three rigs are currently active on site, with the program running well ahead of schedule after completing more than 120 reverse circulation holes. The company is scheduled to deliver a major resource update for the Peak Hill Gold Project by the end of CY2026.
