Great Northern Minerals Limited (GNM) has completed a comprehensive reprocessing of historical induced polarization (DDIP) data at its Iron Butte project in Nevada. This technical review identified four previously untested chargeability anomalies across a three-kilometre target area, which the company believes may indicate disseminated sulphide mineralization associated with gold and silver systems.

These findings are central to the company’s ongoing exploration strategy. The four identified zones—Iron Butte Central, North, South, and the newly staked Caetano area—each show strong chargeability readings of up to 30mV/V. At the Central zone, the anomaly sits directly beneath existing mineralization, while other areas coincide with previously identified geochemical soil and rock chip anomalies.

The company is currently incorporating these geophysical results into its broader exploration model. The identification of these targets serves as a key prerequisite for the upcoming site activities. Finalisation of specific drill hole locations is currently in progress, running in parallel with the necessary regulatory permitting and contractor engagement.

These preparatory steps are designed to support the execution of a maiden drilling campaign at the project. Management has confirmed that this program is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2026. The drilling will aim to test the depth and strike potential of the newly defined anomalies, specifically investigating the possibility of deeper Carlin-style mineralization beneath the current resource footprint.
