Great Pacific Gold Corp. has completed its maiden diamond drill program at the Kavasuki target within the flagship Wild Dog Project in East New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea, returning multiple broad, shallow gold intercepts including 58.90 metres at 2.43 g/t gold from hole KVH-01.

The 12-hole program totaled 1,844.8 metres of diamond drilling and was designed to test the geometry and continuity of the Kavasuki vein system while evaluating its relationship with historical 3D induced polarization chargeability anomalies. The target is located approximately 1.5 kilometres northeast of the historically mined Sinivit deposit.

Drilling demonstrated that the highest-grade gold mineralization is concentrated from surface down to approximately 70 metres of vertical depth, while the main vein structure continues below this horizon at lower grades. Additional significant intercepts included 38.40 metres at 2.07 g/t gold in hole KVH-03 and 59.90 metres at 1.38 g/t gold in hole KVH-04. Narrower higher-grade intervals reached up to 17.93 g/t gold over 1.20 metres.

Data from the program also refined the interpretation of historical geophysical surveys, indicating that the principal chargeability response reflects disseminated pyrite rather than gold mineralization.

Diamond drilling at Wild Dog began in May 2025 at the Sinivit target, where 16 holes over 3,000 metres were completed before activity expanded to Kavasuki and other prospects across the 15-kilometre structural corridor.

“Our maiden program at Kavasuki delivered broad zones of shallow gold mineralization, including 58.9 metres at 2.43 g/t gold, and achieved its core technical objectives by confirming historical mineralization, demonstrating continuity of the vein system at depth and resolving the principal source of the historical chargeability response. Importantly, we now have a much clearer understanding of where the better grades are developed and how to target the system going forward. That knowledge is already improving how we rank targets not only at Kavasuki, but across the broader Wild Dog corridor. With the Kavasuki program complete, both rigs are now drilling at Magiabe and Mengmut as we systematically advance the highest-priority targets across the Main Zone” — Callum Spink, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Exploration

Following the completion of the Kavasuki drilling, Great Pacific Gold has redeployed its two diamond drill rigs to active programs at Magiabe and Mengmut. The company also intends to carry out future drill testing along the ridge between Sinivit and Kavasuki by integrating the reinterpreted geophysical dataset with the newly defined prospective elevation window.
