Great Southern Mining Limited has commenced a maiden reverse circulation drilling program at the emerging Amy Clarke discovery within the Duketon Gold Project in Western Australia’s Laverton district.

The program comprises 18 holes targeting approximately 2,300 metres of drilling. Previous aircore programs carried out in 2021 and 2025 outlined shallow gold mineralisation across a 4.7-kilometre strike length, with much of the historical drilling remaining within 50 metres of the surface.

Past intercepts from those aircore programs include 17 metres at 1.4 grams per tonne of gold from 20 metres, featuring a 1-metre section at 11.2 grams per tonne, and an 8-metre intercept at 6.7 grams per tonne from 33 metres. Additional high-grade results include a 2-metre interval at 23.9 grams per tonne of gold from 10 metres.

The new reverse circulation holes are designed to step out along strike and test beneath deeper zones of higher-grade mineralisation to clarify the orientation and structural controls of the system.

The drilling rig was moved to Amy Clarke before completing all work at the nearby Golden Boulder discovery in order to expedite results while equipment remains on site. Assay results are expected in the coming weeks for 38 completed reverse circulation holes totaling 4,726 metres at Golden Boulder, where a further 68 holes are planned following the completion of the Amy Clarke program. Additionally, assay results are imminent for 16 reverse circulation holes totaling 3,089 metres drilled at the Mon Ami Gold Project.
