Greatland Resources Ltd. (GGP) has reported a strong finish to the 2026 financial year, with its Telfer mine in Western Australia producing 79,099 ounces of gold and 3,573 tonnes of copper during the June quarter. These results bring the company’s total output for the full 2026 fiscal year to 328,986 ounces of gold and 14,594 tonnes of copper.

This annual performance represents a notable operational success, as the final gold output sits 6% above the top end of the company’s previously stated guidance range of 260,000 to 310,000 ounces. Earlier this year, the company had indicated that performance was tracking toward the upper end of these targets, but the final tally confirmed a material outperformance for the period.

Financially, the company maintains a robust position, ending the June quarter with $1,289 million in cash and zero debt. This figure reflects a quarterly cash build of $81 million, calculated after accounting for capital expenditure and $87 million in tax payments related to the 2026 financial year. The company noted that these cash figures do not include $20 million in sales completed in late June, for which payment was received after the quarter concluded. While All-In-Sustaining-Costs remain under final review, they are expected to be disclosed alongside comprehensive operational data in the upcoming quarterly report.

The Telfer asset forms a critical part of the company's broader operational strategy in the Paterson Province. This hub is being developed alongside the Havieron gold-copper project, which the company owns adjacent to its main mining operations. By maintaining full exposure to gold price movements while utilising partial downside protection through put options, the company is positioning the site for long-term production.

Investors looking for further details on the operational breakdown and cost metrics can expect the company to release its full June 2026 Quarterly Activities Report later this month. Following the publication of those documents, the management team intends to hold a public webcast to discuss the results and the outlook for the business.
