Green & Gold Minerals Limited has intersected high-grade copper, silver, tin, indium and zinc in its maiden reverse circulation drilling campaign at the Copper Hills prospect, part of the Herberton Conductor Metals project.

The campaign marks the first drilling at Copper Hills in 45 years. Six holes tested the main lode, an eastern target, and Copper Hills West. Assay results from hole CHC003 returned 5m at 1.05% Cu, 131 g/t Ag, 205 g/t In, 0.37% Sn, 9.1% Zn and 1.1% Pb from 102m. This interval included a higher-grade core of 2m at 2.3% Cu, 300 g/t Ag, 421 g/t In, 0.91% Sn, 19.4% Zn and 2.3% Pb from 103m.

The latest results surpass historic drilling at the project. Hole CHC003 delivered a wider intercept at depth, confirming that the main lode thickens downward and remains open in all directions with continuity established to at least 90 metres below surface.

Additional results from the main line of lode included hole CHC001, which intersected 6m at 0.46% Cu, 67 g/t Ag, 11 g/t In, 4.1% Zn and 2.7% Pb from 35m, including a 2m subsection at 1.21% Cu, 120 g/t Ag, 28 g/t In, 10.6% Zn and 6.9% Pb. At Copper Hills West, located approximately 400 metres away, hole CHC006 returned 2m at 1.20% Cu, 69 g/t Ag, 86 g/t In, 0.8% Zn and 0.6% Pb from 22m.

“The results are extremely encouraging and give us growing confidence that Copper Hills has the potential to develop into a significant high-grade conductor metals discovery.”

“Green & Gold is exploring for stand-alone copper, silver and tin deposits at Herberton. Seeing both the width and grade increase in our first drilling program at Copper Hills is extremely encouraging. These results provide strong validation of the Herberton Conductor Metals acquisition, and we aim to drill deeper at Copper Hills and other prospects as soon as we can.”
