Greenland Mines Ltd. has successfully concluded its 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland, covering a broader seabed area than originally planned to support future shipping and marine infrastructure.

Operated by Icelandic Lagenes ehf aboard the research vessel M/V Byr, the survey mapped navigation routes and multibeam coverage across Mikis Fjord, J.C. Jacobsen Fjord, Skaergaard Bugt and Uttendal Sund. The verified high-resolution bathymetric data has already been put to practical operational use, guiding support vessel Argus to a new anchorage in Uttendal Sund just 500 metres from the western outcropping mineralized zone.

The seabed dataset will now be submitted to the Danish Geodata Agency to support official navigational charting for the fjord system. Greenland Mines also plans to commission a dedicated navigational safety study, providing the foundational infrastructure planning required for large-scale marine shipping during future construction and production phases.

In parallel with the marine survey, the project's 2026 drill program reached an operational milestone. Contractor Nordisk Fundering A/S completed all HQ-diameter drill core required to support the planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample.

The drill program has now transitioned to NQ-size core drilling for resource definition and geotechnical evaluation through the remainder of the season. A newly raised core shack facility is fully operational on site to handle core logging, sampling, and storage. Greenland Mines contracted Nordisk Fundering to execute an expanded 2026 campaign comprising approximately 7,500 metres of helicopter-supported diamond core drilling, advancing Skaergaard toward an Initial Assessment and its next phase of development.
