GreenTech Metals identifies new sulphide targets at Munni Munni
GreenTech Metals Limited (ASX: GRE) has received an independent geochemical review of its Munni Munni project in Western Australia, uncovering a new exploration framework for magmatic sulphide deposits. The review, led by consulting geochemist Dr. Scott Halley, identifies high-priority targets along the intrusion’s basal contact and highlights significant copper anomalism across the upper magnetite-bearing sequence.
The study indicates that the lower ultramafic cumulate domain exhibits a copper depletion signature, which the company interprets as evidence of early sulphide saturation. This process is often a critical precursor to the formation of high-grade nickel and copper sulphide lodes. Additionally, a five-kilometre by two-kilometre copper anomaly in the southern portion of the intrusion has been identified, warranting further mapping and rock-chip sampling to determine its potential.

To validate these findings, the company plans to initiate a co-funded Fixed-Loop Electromagnetic (FLEM) geophysical survey this month. The data from this survey will be used to pinpoint deep, conductive sulphide bodies ahead of a planned drilling campaign.
This technical advancement complements the company's broader operational strategy, which operates a hub-and-spoke model focused on the synergistic development of Munni Munni and the nearby Whundo copper-zinc-gold project. The company has also bolstered its internal expertise with the recent appointment of Rachel Backus as Chief Geologist, who will oversee the interpretation of upcoming exploration results as the team prepares for an 8,300-metre drill program.
