GSP Resource Corp. has completed an expanded Phase 1 diamond drilling program totaling 1,801 metres across eight holes at its 100%-owned Alwin Mine and Mer properties in British Columbia's Highland Valley Copper Camp.

The completed meterage surpassed the company’s planned 1,200 to 1,500-metre program by approximately 20%, driven by alteration and mineralization observed in drill core. All 2,432 core samples have been submitted to ALS Canada Ltd in Kamloops for multi-element and precious metals analysis, with assay results expected between September and October 2026.

The program included four step-out holes totaling roughly 1,150 metres at the Alwin high-grade gold target, designed to flank discovery hole AM-24-06, which returned 5.04 g/t gold and 1.01% copper over 7.90 metres, including 22.93 g/t gold and 1.82% copper over 1.64 metres. The current inferred mineral resource at Alwin stands at 1.46 million tonnes at 1.08% copper, containing 34.6 million pounds of copper, estimated solely on copper.

Alongside work at Alwin, GSP completed a maiden four-hole diamond drilling program totaling approximately 651 metres at the Mer porphyry copper target. This marked the first diamond drilling on the property since 1966. All four holes intersected near-surface visible copper mineralization, and hole ME-26-04 was extended to 292.7 metres, making it the deepest hole completed at the property to date.

The exploration follows an over-subscribed private placement closing May 14, 2026, raising $1.22 million in flow-through proceeds. Additionally, the company regained a 100% interest in the 3,022-hectare Olivine Mountain property on August 21, 2026, following the termination of a third-party option.

GSP anticipates receiving staged assay results through September and October, which will be integrated with existing geophysical and geochemical datasets to guide potential second-phase drilling.
