GT Resources Inc. has returned up to 5.64 g/t gold from initial prospecting at the Schist Target within its recently optioned CD gold-copper porphyry project in Yukon’s Dawson Range Gold Belt.

The company acquired the CD Project in May 2026 through an earn-in agreement, securing a property with valid drill permits until 2033, including a 50,000-metre permit. The inaugural program comprised mapping, prospecting, soil sampling, and an airborne MobileMT survey.

The work confirmed historic anomalies near Carmacks, exhibiting parallels to Western Copper and Gold’s Casino deposit 90 kilometres northwest. Mapping at the Maloney Target revealed a multi-intrusive porphyry system with feldspar porphyry dykes, disseminated copper, stockwork veining, and localized alteration.

At the Schist Target, prospecting returned up to 5.64 g/t gold, 13.7 g/t silver, and 2,050 ppm arsenic in weathered breccia vein material, with over 10% of 41 samples exceeding 1.0 g/t gold. Soil sampling also confirmed anomalies up to 0.141 ppm gold, pointing to an epithermal vein system representing a distal hydrothermal phase.

The field program confirmed historic soil and bedrock gold-copper anomalies and significantly expanded our knowledge of the geology and alteration styles present on the property. This work has re-enforced our thesis that we have an untested porphyry system, and we also have indications of skarn type mineralization.

The work program also included a focused airborne MobileMT survey ("Mobile MagnetoTellurics") results of which are expected shortly. This technology was specifically chosen for its ability to map subsurface resistivity and conductivity to help identify disseminated sulphide mineralization, alteration, and geological contacts at depth. The data being obtained complements the existing ground-based IP ('Induced Polarization") and magnetics surveys thereby allowing GT to create a detailed 3D model of the Maloney Porphyry target which will help identify high-priority drill targets,"

GT Resources expects results from the airborne MobileMT survey shortly. The data will complement existing ground-based induced polarization and magnetics surveys to generate a detailed three-dimensional model of the Maloney Target, refining high-priority drill locations.

To follow up on surface findings, GT Resources plans a 2,500 to 3,000-metre diamond drill program at the CD Project at the beginning of the 2027 exploration season to test both the gold-rich copper porphyry potential and high-grade gold-silver vein targets.
