GT Resources Identifies Blind Porphyry Target at CD Project
GT Resources Inc. has identified a blind, concentric resistive body interpreted as a buried porphyry intrusion at the Maloney Porphyry Target within its CD Gold-Copper Porphyry Project in Yukon’s Dawson Range Gold Belt.

The results stem from the first MobileMT airborne geophysical survey completed over the property. The survey outlined an undrilled, roughly one-by-one-kilometre resistive body located directly south of a coincident strong gold-in-soil and Induced Polarization chargeability anomaly.
GT Resources acquired the CD Project in May 2026 through an earn-in agreement, securing valid drill permits until 2033 that include a 50,000-metre permit.
The survey also identified an area of low resistivity coincident with the chargeability anomaly, which GT Resources states provides additional confidence by testing the target with multiple exploration methods.
“The MobileMT survey identified a 'blind', concentric body, which may represent a buried porphyry intrusion located directly south of a coincident strong gold-in-soil and Induced Polarization ("IP") chargeability anomaly (Figure 1, 2 & 3). This combined with new geological mapping leads us to believe that a multi-intrusive centre is present at the Maloney Porphyry Target, similar to Forge Resources Corp's Alotta project (Figure 4). Additionally, the MobileMT survey identified an area of low resistivity coincident with the IP chargeability anomaly, thereby providing additional conviction in our target by de-risking with multiple exploration tools.
MobileMT was specifically chosen for its ability to help map disseminated sulphides, alteration, and geological contacts. While IP is excellent at identifying near surface features, MobileMT is geared toward greater depths, and combining the two has allowed GT to create a detailed 3D model of the Maloney porphyry target and refine drill targets.” — Neil Pettigrew, Vice President of Exploration
Prior to testing the target with the drill bit, GT Resources plans to complete mineralogical studies to refine porphyry-style alteration halos and carry out age dating of prospective intrusive rocks during 2026. The company then intends to conduct a 2,500 to 3,000-metre diamond drill program at the CD Project at the beginning of the 2027 exploration season.
