Hamelin Gold Limited has completed its expanded Phase 2 reverse circulation drilling program at the Day Dawn gold project in the Paterson Province of Western Australia.

The reverse circulation program was expanded from a planned 3,000 metres to 4,000 metres across 35 holes. Drilling focused on testing near-surface and down-plunge extensions of the high-grade Aurora and Altus gold lodes, alongside potential parallel lode positions. The program generated more than 4,000 samples for laboratory analysis, with assay results expected in October 2026.

Prior maiden reverse circulation drilling completed at Day Dawn earlier in the year confirmed high-grade shallow gold mineralisation at the Aurora lode, returning 3 metres at 93.4 g/t gold from 9 metres.

A series of pre-collars have now been finished to prepare for the company's maiden diamond drilling campaign at the project. Diamond drilling is scheduled to commence within four weeks to test the down-plunge extensions of the lodes beyond the depth limits of reverse circulation drilling and to collect material for preliminary metallurgical test work.
