Hamelin Gold Limited has secured firm commitments to raise approximately $8 million through a share placement priced at $0.16 per share, providing the funding required to accelerate exploration across its 100% owned Western Australian gold portfolio.

The placement attracted strong support from major backers, including Gold Fields Limited and Vault Minerals Limited, which subscribed for approximately $1.5 million and $600,000 respectively. Following completion of the placement and a conditional director tranche, Gold Fields will hold an interest of approximately 17.7%, while Vault will hold approximately 10.9%. In addition to institutional backing, company directors intend to subscribe for approximately $321,000 through the issue of 2,005,709 shares, subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting scheduled for late September 2026.

Net proceeds from the placement will directly support active and planned field programs across the company's portfolio. Drilling is currently underway at the Day Dawn gold project, while funds will also advance exploration programs at the Venus project near Cue and at the West Tanami project.

“We greatly appreciate the ongoing support from our existing shareholders and welcome new shareholders at an exciting time for the Company. Drilling activities are in progress at our Day Dawn gold project and plans are well advanced to complete programs at the Venus project near Cue and in the West Tanami.”

— Peter Bewick, Managing Director

The company anticipates providing further updates as exploration work progresses across the three project areas and assay results become available.
