Hannan Metals Completes First Geophysical Survey at Stavaträsk Gold Project
Hannan Metals Limited has completed a gradient-array induced polarization survey across a three-square-kilometre area at the Stavaträsk gold project in northern Sweden, delivering the first systematic geophysical coverage of the mineral system.

The survey builds on an option agreement entered into in June 2026 for Hannan to acquire a 100% interest in Stavaträsk alongside the Skellefteå North and Ädelfors gold projects. It also follows a maiden diamond drill program comprising seven holes for 1,040 metres at Stavaträsk, which intersected gold across 650 metres of strike. The new geophysical data include co-registered resistivity and chargeability measurements acquired on a 200-metre grid with 100-metre infill, supplemented by a dipole-dipole section across the main drill area.
Geovisor Oy executed the survey under the technical coordination of Precision Geophysics, with processing and interpretation now underway to guide upcoming exploration.
“The initial program gave us gold in every hole and confirmed the Stavaträsk system continues at depth. What it could not tell us is how big the system is. That is the job of this IP survey. Gold at Stavaträsk is carried by arsenopyrite and pyrite, exactly the sulphides that gradient-array IP is built to detect as chargeability anomalies, so we now expect to see the footprint of the system, not just the seven holes we have drilled into it. We have covered 3 km² at 200 m spacing, tightened to 100 m over the drilled area, and added a dipole-dipole line for dip and depth. Interpretation is underway and will drive a 1,000 metre follow-up program by next month. Stavaträsk is moving fast, and the next round of holes will be the best targeted we have drilled.”

The interpreted geophysical results will be integrated directly with the maiden drill data to map extensions of the two mineralization styles identified on the property. Hannan Metals is scheduled to complete a 1,000-metre follow-up drill program at the Stavaträsk project before the end of 2026.
