Haranga Resources Confirms High-Grade Gold at Ibel South

Haranga Resources (HAR) has announced the receipt of assay results from its Phase 3 reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Ibel South gold project in Senegal. The 19-hole campaign, which totalled 3,244 metres, was designed to test the depth and continuity of mineralisation previously identified by shallower aircore drilling.

The results successfully validated earlier findings, delivering high-grade intercepts in the oxide zone. Notable highlights included 14 metres at 7.29 g/t gold from 23 metres depth and 12 metres at 5.24 g/t gold from 33 metres. These intercepts confirm that the high-grade shoots identified in earlier exploration are robust features of the prospect.

Beyond confirming the shallow shoots, the RC program extended the known mineralised corridor to the northeast, where hole 26-IBS-RC0013 returned 7 metres at 1.23 g/t gold. Observations of hydrothermal alteration and pyrite mineralisation across the site suggest the presence of a fertile system that remains open both along strike and at depth. While some deeper holes returned lower-grade results, the continuity of alteration provides a framework for future targeting.

The company is currently awaiting the outcome of a permit renewal application lodged with Senegalese authorities. Once secured, Haranga intends to initiate a follow-up drill program. This next phase will prioritize testing the open northeast extension of the mineralised corridor and exploring the untested down-plunge positions of the high-grade shoots. By focusing on these targets, the company aims to better define the geometry and scale of the system, further investigating the source of the identified gold anomalism within the broader alteration zone.
