Harvest Gold Corporation has postponed its second diamond drill program at the Mosseau project in Quebec, demobilizing its drilling contractor following a request from the Lac Simon First Nation.

The company previously scheduled the second drill program to begin in July 2026 following the arrival of the drill rig on site. However, after receiving a letter from the Lac Simon First Nation on July 20 requesting a delay and meetings with the Band Council, Harvest Gold agreed to halt operations in good faith while negotiations proceed.

During discussions, Band Council representatives asked that two agreements currently under negotiation be finalized before drilling commences. Harvest Gold committed in writing to an accelerated negotiating timeline, proposing to complete one agreement by mid-August and the second by mid-September 2026.

Following subsequent meetings held in August, negotiations remain advanced and relations positive. Although the Lac Simon First Nation maintained its preference that drilling wait until both agreements are finalized, Harvest Gold agreed to honour the request and instructed its drilling contractor to demobilize from the project site.

Harvest Gold’s preferred new start date for the Mosseau drilling program is October 5, 2026, scheduled immediately after the end of the two-week hunting season in the central project area. This proposed timeline aims to secure 30 to 40 consecutive days needed to complete the program by mid-November. The company confirms it remains fully funded for the upcoming work.

The Mosseau project forms part of Harvest Gold’s broader land position in the Urban Barry area, which totals 443 claims covering 23,740 hectares.
