Heavy Rare Earths Limited (HRE) has confirmed that all necessary regulatory approvals are in place for the inaugural drill campaign at its Prospect Hill project in South Australia. The company successfully secured the Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation approval from the South Australian Department of Mines and Energy, clearing the final hurdle for site access. With camp locations finalized and drill collars marked, the company is now waiting for local road conditions to improve to allow for the movement of heavy machinery to the site.

Following a detailed geological mapping survey, the company has expanded the scope of its planned drilling. The campaign, which was originally intended to comprise 28 holes, has been enlarged to up to 36 holes for a total of 3,400 meters of reverse circulation and diamond drilling. This increase is designed to provide the necessary material for metallurgical test work as the company works toward a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.

Mapping efforts have successfully extended the main South Ridge shear zone to 1.85 km in length. Furthermore, field crews identified multiple, previously unmapped parallel structures nearby that represent potential future exploration targets. These findings confirm the mineralized potential of the tenement, which the company pivoted to prioritize following a strategic re-negotiation of its mineral rights in late 2025. By shifting its focus from uranium toward this advanced tin prospect, the company aims to establish a clear development pathway for the site.
