HM Exploration has returned assay results from the final five holes of its Phase One drilling program at the Lewis Pilley’s project in Newfoundland. The drilling confirmed the continuity of two stacked sulphide lenses, with the upper lens now extended to a 145-metre strike length and the lower lens to 40 metres.

Hole PI-26-008 intercepted 18.45 metres at 1.14% copper, 2.42% zinc, 16.74 g/t silver, and 0.32 g/t gold from the upper lens, including a sub-interval of 0.71 metres grading 2.25% copper, 27.3% zinc, and 102 g/t silver. From the lower lens, hole PI-26-008 returned 6.32 metres at 0.91% copper, 2.37% zinc, 29.3 g/t silver, and 1.63 g/t gold, including 0.82 metres grading 10.23 g/t gold and 149 g/t silver.

Hole PI-26-010 intersected 5.42 metres at 1.99% copper, 1.66% zinc, 15.49 g/t silver, and 0.8 g/t gold within the lower lens. Holes PI-26-011 and PI-26-012 did not return significant mineralization but intersected disseminated material along the trend.

The upper and lower mineralized horizons remain open along strike and down dip. HM Exploration plans to complete electromagnetic surveys to refine targets for a subsequent Phase Two drilling program, which will test potential extensions of the mineralized system.
