Homeland Agrees To Sell Shamrock Nickel-Copper Project For USD $150,000

Homeland Nickel Inc. has agreed to sell its Shamrock nickel-copper project in Southern Oregon to American Gold & Copper Inc. via a non-binding letter of intent.
The proposed transaction involves two cash payments totaling USD $158,500. This comprises USD $150,000 for the property and USD $8,500 to cover mining claim renewal costs in September 2026. The asset sale covers 40 unpatented lode mining claims spanning approximately 758 acres in Jackson County, alongside transferable technical data and historical exploration records.
The arrangement is subject to a 60-day due diligence period during which American Gold & Copper Inc. may conduct legal, title, technical, geological, environmental, financial, tax, and operational reviews. Completion also requires executing mutually acceptable definitive agreements, verifying that all claims remain valid and in good standing, and securing required approvals and consents, including acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange. Both parties anticipate closing the transaction on or before October 11, 2026.
Homeland President and CEO Steve Balch explained the rationale behind the divestment, noting that while the asset holds high-grade potential, the company's primary focus remains elsewhere in the region.
“Shamrock is an excellent nickel sulphide project with significant copper and precious metals. But Homeland has its hands full with nine nickel laterite properties in Oregon, and we have visited the property only once since acquiring it.”
— Steve Balch, President & CEO, Homeland Nickel Inc.
Homeland's portfolio includes nine nickel projects in Oregon, featuring the Cleopatra property which contains a historical resource of approximately 40 Mt of laterite grading 0.9% nickel.
