Homeland Nickel Secures USFS Plan Acceptance and C$3M Placement

Homeland Nickel Inc. has secured acceptance from the United States Forest Service for its Plan of Operation governing the planned sonic drill program at the Red Flat Nickel Project in Oregon, moving the permits into environmental and cultural evaluations.
The approval clears the path for fieldwork while the company closes a non-brokered private placement of 8,000,000 units at C$0.38 per unit for gross proceeds of C$3,040,000. The financing is subject to final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange, with issued securities carrying a four-month hold period. Net proceeds will fund property payments, exploration, and general corporate purposes. Insider participation totaled 465,098 units.
Homeland holds nine nickel exploration projects in Oregon, anchored by Red Flat and Cleopatra. The Cleopatra asset hosts a historical resource of approximately 40 million tonnes of laterite grading 0.93% nickel. In August 2026, the company reacquired all Net Smelter Returns and $15 million in milestone payment obligations covering its southern Oregon properties from RAB Capital by issuing 10 million common shares and a 2.5% interest in Patriot Nickel.
“the acceptance of our Plan of Operation by the Forest Service brings us much closer to our sonic drill program and we are hopeful we can complete this program in October subject to crew availability. We expect one or both reports to be completed during Q4 2026, roughly a year ahead of schedule. This is why we renegotiated the NSR and milestone payments with RAB Capital. We were able to issue an equivalent value of our common stock in place of the milestone cash payments and acquired all NSR rights in the process.”
— Steve Balch, President & CEO
The stock is currently trading at C$0.41, up 2.50%. Homeland anticipates completing the Red Flat sonic drill program in October, subject to crew availability, alongside delivering Preliminary Economic Assessments or SK-1300 format reports for Red Flat and Cleopatra during the fourth quarter of 2026.
