Homerun Resources Inc. has produced bulk purified silica material exceeding 99.99% SiO2 with total impurities of 81 ppm from its Santa Maria Eterna silica sand district in Belmonte, Bahia, Brazil.

The test-work, conducted by Dorfner Anzaplan GmbH, demonstrated that a two-hour thermal pre-treatment followed by acid leaching successfully achieved the lowest overall impurity levels among the tested configurations. Previous multi-process testing by the processor achieved a lowest total impurity level of 92 ppm, while earlier plant processing targeted industrial grade 3N silica sand at over 99.9% SiO2.

The successful production of bulk material upgraded to plus 4N purity at over 99.99% SiO2 supports the reproducibility of the processing method at production scale. The technical outcome indicates that the lowest heating duration tested delivered the cleanest result, a factor that may lower process energy consumption, operating costs, and thermal equipment demand during future production scale-up.

Homerun has shipped the bulk purified material to prospective customers for product qualification and to the University of California, Davis, for advanced materials development. The sample batch enables the next stage of engagement with commercial partners and research organizations as the company aligns purification performance with commercial qualification.

The Santa Maria Eterna project contains a preliminary mineral resource estimate of 25.56 million tonnes Measured and 38.35 million tonnes Inferred of high-purity silica sand grading greater than 99.6% SiO2. Homerun is advancing the project to supply high-purity silica feedstock for its planned antimony-free solar glass manufacturing plant in Bahia.

Additionally, Homerun and Jundu Ltda. are advancing a formal industrial partnership at the district, including an option to construct a new silica processing plant inside Homerun's industrial complex.
