HPQ Silicon Inc. and its strategic partner Novacium SAS have received an initial commercial order from LN Innov for GEN3 silicon-based battery packs destined for FPV drones for a French Army regiment.

The order follows a multi-month testing program, marking a transition to commercial supply. While not financially material to HPQ, it validates Novacium’s proprietary silicon anode technology in the defence sector.

HPQ holds a 36.8% equity interest in Novacium and retains exclusive North American commercialisation rights under the HPQ ENDURA+ brand. The partners also signed a letter of intent to evaluate a Canadian-based electric propulsion platform for North American markets, using the French defence deployment as a reference.

LN Innov plans to scale manufacturing to reach up to 20,000 drone motors per month in France by the end of the third quarter of 2026.
