Iceni Gold Intersects Broad Gold Mineralisation at Goose Well

Iceni Gold Limited has intersected a new broad zone of gold mineralisation with multiple higher-grade intervals within maiden diamond drillhole FMDD0058 at the Goose Well target. The target is situated within the company’s 14 Mile Well Gold Project, located between Leonora and Laverton in Western Australia.
Drillhole FMDD0058 targeted the Gander Fault within the host monzogranite and returned a broad gold mineralised interval of 20.62m at 0.45 g/t Au from 208.47m. This included narrower high-grade intervals of 0.32m at 5.97 g/t Au from 216.96m, 0.50m at 2.03 g/t Au from 222m, and 0.46m at 1.33 g/t Au from 225m.
The 362m deep angled hole intersected a broad approximately 54m low-grade mineralised envelope in altered monzogranite, accompanied by multiple high-grade quartz veins associated with lamprophyres immediately west of the Gander Fault. Additional intercepts from the hole included 6.97m at 0.25 g/t Au from 1m (including 0.73m at 1.54 g/t Au from 2.77m), 2.00m at 0.65 g/t Au from 109m (including 1m at 1.09 g/t Au from 109m), and 32.67m at 0.15 g/t Au from 28m.
The results support two distinct styles of gold mineralisation within the Goose Well Intrusive Complex: broad intervals of low-grade stockwork mineralisation hosting higher-grade quartz veins, and quartz veining with silica-carbonate altered monzogranite associated with north-south trending lamprophyres proximal to the Gander Fault. Prior exploration at Goose Well included a maiden reverse circulation drilling program comprising 19 holes completed in April 2026.
“Importantly, the combined intercepts in the hole intersected a large ~54m mineralised envelope immediately west of the Gander fault, including multiple higher-grade quartz veins associated with deformed and altered lamprophyres. When combined with the structural information from the core, these results have significantly improved our understanding of the relationship between the Gander fault, the intrusive complex, lamprophyres and gold mineralisation.” — Wade Johnson, Managing Director
Iceni Gold Limited is planning next-phase east-west oriented reverse circulation drilling to test these structural targets and define the continuity and geometry of the gold system across 1.8 kilometres of the Gander Fault within its 100% held tenure.
