ICG Silver & Gold Ltd. has completed approximately 2,525 metres of reverse circulation drilling across 10 holes at its Tuscarora District project in Elko County, Nevada, representing roughly 84% of its planned 3,000-metre Phase 1 program.

Preliminary geological logging indicates that the intended geological horizons were successfully encountered across all four completed target areas: Silica, Battle Mountain, King’s Vein and East Pediment.

The company acquired the Tuscarora project from American Pacific Mining Corp., integrating historical exploration data that includes more than 40,000 metres of previous drilling into its 3D subsurface model.

“Reaching the modeled target horizons across each of the areas drilled to date is an important first step in testing the geological framework we developed ahead of this program.”

The Phase 1 program initially targeted six priority areas. Based on encouraging technical indications from preliminary logging and the objective of maximizing technical data from remaining meters, ICG Silver & Gold has deferred drilling at the Grand Prize and Modoc targets to future programs, reallocating those meters to two additional holes at East Pediment.

Drilling is currently active at the East Pediment target, with initial assay results remaining pending.

“The consistency between our current model and what we are encountering in the subsurface is allowing us to refine our interpretation of the system in real-time as drilling progresses. With assays pending and additional drilling underway at East Pediment, we continue to build the dataset needed to evaluate continuity between historical drilling and advance the broader geological model at the Tuscarora District.”

— Korbon McCall, VP of Exploration

As assay results are received and validated, the company plans to integrate the laboratory data with geological logging and its 3D model to evaluate gold and silver mineralization, assess continuity between holes, refine structural controls, and prioritize follow-up step-out drilling.
