Iconic Minerals has received first assay results from the 2026 exploration program at the New Pass gold property in Churchill County, Nevada, confirming significant near-surface gold and silver intervals across five of the initial six drill holes.

The program tested up-dip extensions of known mineralization along the property's 0.8-mile strike length. Five holes returned continuous mineralized intervals ranging from 70 to 150 feet of leachable-grade material beginning within the first 50 feet of drilling.

Hole NP2603 intersected 150 feet (46 metres) grading 0.60 g/t gold and 1.95 g/t silver, including a higher-grade interval of 10 feet (3 metres) at 4.83 g/t gold and 7.00 g/t silver starting at a depth of 90 feet (27 metres). Hole NP2601 returned 140 feet (43 metres) at 0.49 g/t gold and 3.89 g/t silver from a depth of 170 feet (52 metres), including 30 feet (9 metres) at 1.67 g/t gold and 11.53 g/t silver. Hole NP2606 yielded 70 feet (21 metres) at 0.57 g/t gold and 8.43 g/t silver from 40 feet (12 metres).

Hole NP2604 was terminated before reaching the target horizon and did not intersect mineralization. All holes were drilled at a 45-degree dip to capture true thickness.

“These initial assay results meet our expectations for both gold and silver grade and intercept thickness. Drilling the up-dip extensions of mineralization along the current 0.8 mile (1.25 km) strike length has the potential to significantly expand the existing resource. All mineralized shallow holes intercepted more than 70 feet (21m) of gold and silver mineralization beginning within the first 50 feet (15m) of drilling.”

Phase 1 drilling at New Pass has concluded with a total of 15 core holes completed. A second batch of drill core has been submitted to ALS for analysis, with the final batch currently being cut and sampled. Following assay completions, the company plans to undertake initial metallurgical testing to confirm the leachability of the mineralized intervals.

The exploration work is supported by capital raised earlier in the year. Iconic Minerals closed a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of CAD$3,750,000 in February 2026 to fund planned drilling and advancement at New Pass.

Gold traded at US$4,378.30 per ounce on August 13, 2026, up 7.31% over the preceding 30-day period.
