Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) has released assay results from eleven reverse circulation drillholes at its Herberton silver-indium project in North Queensland. The company is currently executing a 110-hole drilling program at Orient West, aiming to increase the grade, tonnage, and overall confidence in its existing mineral resource. To date, the company has completed 65 drillholes, totaling 12,297 meters of drilling.

The latest results, from holes ORR148 to ORR158, continue to intersect silver-lead-zinc-indium mineralisation, including several zones of massive sulphide veins. Notable intercepts include a peak result in ORR148 of 1 meter at 1,390 grams per tonne silver equivalent from 104 meters, and ORR151, which returned 1 meter at 1,092 grams per tonne silver equivalent from 49 meters. These infill holes were primarily targeted at the basal veins that form the core of the current Orient West resource.

The data from this campaign will support future scoping and feasibility studies for a potential open-pittable operation. The company expects a consistent flow of results in the coming months as samples from the remaining 45 holes are processed by the laboratory. As the drilling program advances, management intends to use the incoming data to refine its understanding of the mineralised zones and prioritise future testing of extensions along strike. With two months of drilling still remaining in the current schedule, the project remains a primary focus for the explorer as it works toward establishing the technical foundation for development.
