Independence Gold Hits 31.04 Metres at 9.07 g/t Gold at Tommy Vein System
Independence Gold Corp. has intersected broad, high-grade gold and silver mineralization at the Tommy Vein System within its 3Ts Project in central British Columbia.
Drill hole 3TS-26-34 intersected 31.04 metres grading 9.07 grams per tonne gold and 70.56 grams per tonne silver, including a higher-grade interval of 9.77 metres grading 18.24 grams per tonne gold and 90.69 grams per tonne silver. Based on current geological interpretations, this mineralized interval represents a true width of approximately 19 metres.
Drilled approximately 50 metres to the north, hole 3TS-26-27 intersected 27.63 metres grading 5.86 grams per tonne gold and 51.83 grams per tonne silver, which includes a 5.07-metre interval grading 16.20 grams per tonne gold and 126.23 grams per tonne silver. That intercept corresponds to an estimated true width of approximately 16 metres.
Both holes were designed as resource infill tests at the Tommy Vein System but were refined to target an interpreted intersection of radial and arcuate structural features coincident with a strong thorium anomaly. The recovery of multi-stage quartz-carbonate veining, brecciation, adularia, amethyst and sulphosalts supports the interpretation that structural intersections create favourable zones of enhanced dilation and repeated hydrothermal activity.

The 3Ts Project comprises thirty-one mineral claims covering approximately 35,486 hectares in the Nechako Plateau region, situated 16 kilometres southwest of Artemis Gold's Blackwater Mine. The property hosts a low-sulphidation epithermal quartz-carbonate vein district containing at least twenty known mineralized veins with strike lengths ranging from 50 to over 1,100 metres and true widths up to 32 metres. Twelve of these veins remain untested by drilling.
Commenting on the findings, President and Chief Executive Officer Randy Turner noted that the results provide an important test of the structural model developed during the 2026 program. "Our evolving structural model has helped identify the blind Balrog, Goofy and Dixie discoveries earlier in the program," Turner stated. "The Tommy results suggest the same approach may also help us understand where wider and higher-grade portions of established vein systems develop, providing an important tool for future resource expansion and exploration targeting."
