Independence Gold Intersects 5.12 g/t Gold and 33.04 g/t Silver over 9.23 Metres at Goofy Vein
Independence Gold Corp. has intersected 9.23 metres grading 5.12 grams per tonne gold and 33.04 grams per tonne silver in drill hole 3TS-26-48 at the 3Ts Project in central British Columbia.
The interval was returned from a down-hole depth of 62.77 to 72.00 metres and includes an estimated true width of 4.00 metres. High-grade intercepts within the hole include 0.60 metres grading 21.33 grams per tonne gold and 230.00 grams per tonne silver, as well as a 1.33-metre interval grading 11.09 grams per tonne gold and 42.11 grams per tonne silver.

This result confirms the continuation of high-grade gold and silver mineralization approximately 30 metres beneath discovery hole 3TS-26-39, which previously established the blind vein structure. The Goofy Vein is located approximately 250 metres west of the Ted-Mint Vein System and was discovered by testing a radial structural corridor coincident with an elevated thorium anomaly identified in an airborne radiometric survey. The structure remains open along strike and at depth.
Randy Turner, President and Chief Executive Officer of Independence Gold, noted:
“The results from 3TS-26-48 are an encouraging follow-up to the initial Goofy discovery and demonstrate that the vein continues at depth and along strike. Further drilling on the Goofy vein has the potential to add to the current mineral resource estimate, along with the recent discoveries at the Balrog and Dixie Vein Systems.”
The 3Ts Project comprises thirty-one mineral claims covering approximately 35,486 hectares in the Nechako Plateau region. The property lies 16 kilometres southwest of Artemis Gold Inc.’s Blackwater Mine, in a district where Artemis Gold Inc. reported expansion drill results during August 2026.
All drill core from the spring campaign has been submitted to SGS Canada Inc. in Burnaby for sample preparation and analysis. Gold is evaluated using a 30-gram fire assay with an atomic absorption spectrometry finish, while multi-element determinations use aqua regia digestion followed by ICP-AES analysis.
Independence Gold is preparing a fall exploration program covering soil geochemistry, trenching, and prospecting over new targets outlined by the airborne geophysical survey and a recently completed artificial intelligence survey. That work will lead into a follow-up drill program scheduled to commence during the fourth quarter.
