Infinity Metals Limited has expanded its footprint at the historic Swansea copper project in La Paz County, Arizona, increasing the project area by 47% through the staking of additional 100% owned claims.

The expansion brings total project tenure to cover a strike length exceeding five kilometres over interpreted mineralised structures. Infinity originally entered into an option agreement in June 2026 to acquire a 100% interest in 34 claims at the property, and has now staked an additional 16 mineral lode claims and four Placer claims, with the additional Placer claims covering mineralised surface stockpiles.

The newly staked claims are located to the west, east and north of the main deposit over prospective structures and host stratigraphy. Historical underground mining at Swansea previously yielded 29 million pounds of copper at a head grade of 2.43% over its life. Post-mining exploration drilling returned high-grade intercepts including 18.3 metres at 3.8% copper from 125 metres in hole DH7 and 19.5 metres at 2.32% copper from 122 metres in hole DH6.

Infinity is conducting baseline studies at the Swansea project to prepare information required for drilling approvals under the Bureau of Land Management Plan of Operations framework. The company also plans to integrate information gained from a planned gravity and magnetic survey into its drill targeting at Swansea.

“As work continues, we have confirmed areas which could host extensions and repeats of the high-grade copper mineralisation previously mined at Swansea. Ensuring we have acquired these areas prior to the next stage of work was critical.”
