High-Grade Copper-Silver Assays at Hillside Project

Infinity Mining Limited (IMI) has reported promising results from an initial surface sampling program at the Hillside project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. The campaign targeted exposed gossanous horizons distributed along a continuous nine-kilometre strike corridor, where field teams collected 47 rock-chip samples. Analysis of these samples revealed a polymetallic system, with 23 of 36 rock-chips returning anomalous values for base metals, gold, and silver.

The geochemical data points toward a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralisation framework, characterized by distinct silicified caps and oxidized sulfide lenses. Key assay highlights from the program include values up to 9.4% copper, 163g/t silver, and 0.7g/t gold. Mapping identified ten separate outcropping gossans across the trend, with two primary zones extending over 100 metres in length and reaching widths of up to 30 metres. These targets remain largely untested by previous drilling, providing a significant opportunity for the company to define the structural and mineralised potential of the area.

Chairman Cameron Petricevic highlighted the strategic importance of these findings for the explorer’s upcoming work program.

The company is now prioritizing the administrative and regulatory steps required to initiate systemic drill testing. This maiden drilling campaign is intended to probe the subsurface, aiming to define the true extent and depth continuity of the mapped gossan zones. By moving to test these structures at depth, the explorer aims to validate the observations made during surface mapping and geochemical analysis, bridging the gap between current reconnaissance data and project-wide development.
