Inspiration Mining Corp. has returned assay results from its maiden diamond drilling program at the 100%-owned Rottenstone North gold-copper project in Northern Saskatchewan, with all analyzed core samples returning background values for gold, copper, zinc, lead, and silver.

The 608-metre program comprised four holes drilled between May 12 and May 26, 2026. Three holes reached target depth, while a fourth hole was abandoned in 38 metres of overburden after helicopter support became unavailable. PMC Labs in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, analyzed 94 core samples.

The best gold result was 0.276 g/t Au over 1.00 metre in hole RN26-001 from 22.30 metres downhole, sitting within an 8.73-metre interval averaging 0.045 g/t Au from 16.63 metres. The highest silver value reached 3.65 g/t Ag over 1.00 metre from 107.39 metres in the same hole. Base metals were uniformly background, with single-sample copper peaking at 243 ppm and nickel across the program reaching a maximum of 28.3 ppm.

The three completed holes intersected a granodiorite-dominated gneiss package with intercalated pelitic and psammopelitic gneiss, tonalite, and granodiorite. Hole RN26-001 intersected three discrete ultramafic units, the thickest spanning 5.55 metres, but these units returned no nickel or cobalt tenor. Management noted that the ultramafic rocks tested do not carry the sulphide nickel signature of the historic Rottenstone deposit located further south.

Inspiration Mining holds over 85,000 acres across the Rottenstone gold-copper camp through its Rottenstone North and Rottenstone West properties. In the surrounding district, Ramp Metals Inc. reported drill results intercepting 4.0 metres at 4.84% copper equivalent from 139 metres in drillhole Rush-019 at its Rottenstone SW project.

The technical team is reviewing the data and will complete a structural re-log of the 2026 core. The company will also test satellite-derived targeting against the drill results before siting further holes, and noted that ground exploration should precede any future drilling. Inspiration Mining has no current commitment to a follow-up drill program.
