International Graphite Completes $4.4M Placement to Fund Processing Operations
International Graphite Limited has completed a $4.4 million placement to advance its graphite processing operations in Western Australia and Europe, allotting 58,816,313 new shares under the second tranche alongside 55,000,000 two-year options exercisable at $0.08 per share.
The company plans to seek Australian Securities Exchange quotation for the options. Participants in the capital raising included Xcelsior Capital, a family office linked to a London-based investment house, and company directors. Xcelsior Capital acts as the investment partner for the Wogen Group, a global metals and minerals trading house based in the United Kingdom.
Funds secured from the placement will support the development of graphite processing infrastructure in Western Australia and Europe, while also providing general working capital. International Graphite holds the Springdale Graphite Project in Western Australia and is progressing a European processing hub via the Alkeemia and International Graphite joint venture located at Porto Marghera in Italy.
Practical development work at the Collie Micronising Facility in Western Australia has accelerated over the past month, with earthworks and civil activities increasing significantly. The facility previously secured its building permit from the Shire of Collie in May 2026 to allow construction to proceed.
The project is backed by a $4.5 million funding agreement established with the Western Australian Government under the Collie Industrial Transition Fund. International Graphite has met Milestone 3 requirements under the grant program, triggering a further drawdown expected to arrive in the coming weeks. Once that tranche is received, approximately $2.5 million will remain available for the project.
Mechanical completion of the Collie Micronising Facility is scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
