Inventus Mining Selects SRK Consulting for Maiden Pardo Mineral Resource Estimate

Inventus Mining has selected SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. to complete a maiden mineral resource estimate and updated NI 43-101 technical report for the 100%-owned Pardo paleoplacer gold project, located 65 kilometres northeast of Sudbury, Ontario.
The appointment marks a shift from Inventus's previous operational focus on bulk sampling, during which the company extracted and processed 20,480 tonnes of material across multiple extraction campaigns at the property. The maiden resource will incorporate these bulk-sampling results alongside extensive drilling and channel-sampling datasets to establish a technical foundation for mine planning and grade control.
"The selection of SRK keeps Pardo firmly on track with the development timeline we established earlier this year. SRK’s extensive paleoplacer and Witwatersrand experience is particularly well suited to Pardo’s coarse-gold system and our large drilling, channel-sampling and bulk-sampling datasets."
— Wesley Whymark, CEO & Director
SRK brings direct experience evaluating paleoplacer and conglomerate-hosted gold deposits, including work on South Africa's Witwatersrand Basin. The consultancy's scope of work will include a detailed review and integration of Inventus's bulk-sampling data to help define mineable zones, grade-control parameters, and mineralization continuity for selective mining and off-site processing.
Inventus is advancing the maiden resource to support its Direct Ship Ore production strategy rather than defining the ultimate scale of the gold system, aiming to use future production cash flow to fund continued resource expansion drilling over time.
"Importantly, this maiden resource is intended to cover only a part of the broader Pardo Project. We are advancing it at this stage to provide the technical foundation needed for our DSO production plan, including mine planning and grade control, rather than to define the ultimate scale of the Pardo gold system. We believe the much larger resource potential will be demonstrated through continued drilling over time, with future Direct Ship Ore (“DSO”) production having the potential to help fund that expansion."
— Wesley Whymark, CEO & Director
Alongside the resource estimation work, Inventus aims to complete a mine production permit for Pardo to transition from bulk sampling to surface strip mine production.
Elsewhere in the Sudbury district, regional exploration activity includes recent drilling at Canuc Resources Corporation's East Sudbury Project, which intersected 9.2 metres grading 8.99 g/t gold alongside a polymetallic interval.
