Irruptive Metals Hits 795.2m at 0.66% CuEq in Pimentón Debut
Irruptive Metals Corp. has completed its inaugural diamond drilling campaign at the Pimentón Project in Central Chile, returning 795.2 metres grading 0.66% copper equivalent from hole IMP002.

The 3,084-metre program comprised four holes across two platforms to test the central copper-gold porphyry system. Hole IMP002 intersected the mineralization from 167 metres to the end of the hole at 962.2 metres, including a gold-dominant high-grade interval of 60 metres grading 1.49% copper equivalent from 327 metres.
Hole IMP001 returned two significant intervals, including 358.4 metres grading 0.49% copper equivalent from 513 metres to 871.4 metres at the end of the hole, alongside an upper intercept of 202 metres at 0.38% copper equivalent. Step-out drilling to the south also encountered mineralization, with hole IMP004 intersecting 406 metres grading 0.47% copper equivalent from 259 metres.

The environmental clearance supporting the exploration work was advanced through a pertinence letter submitted by joint venture partner Minera Tamidak Limitada.
“These results from our 2026 drilling program are highly encouraging and confirm the significant copper-gold potential at Pimentón,” said Alfredo Bazo, President and CEO of Irruptive Metals. “The consistency of our results with historical drilling by Rio Tinto and Anglo American validates our geological model. We are particularly pleased with the 795-metre intercept in IMP002, which demonstrates both the scale and grade potential of the Central target. We look forward to advancing the project toward resource definition as we prepare for our next drilling campaign, as the mineralization remains open.” — Alfredo Bazo, President and CEO
Regionally, activity in the wider district includes work by Fitzroy Minerals Inc., which identified multiple porphyry anomalies, including a 3-kilometre-wide C2-B anomaly, from a deep Induced Polarization survey at the Caballos copper project in August 2026.
Irruptive Metals plans to advance drilling to test lateral and deep extensions of the Central target between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027. The company also intends to resample historical holes in the central target, including PP18 and PP04, for inclusion in an updated technical report featuring an initial inferred resource estimate in the first quarter of 2027.
