Irruptive Metals Corp. has received regulatory clearance from Chile's Environmental Assessment Service confirming that its deep porphyry confirmation drilling program at the Pimentón Project is exempt from submission to the country's Environmental Impact Assessment System.

The exemption, issued in response to a pertinence letter submitted by joint venture partner Minera Tamidak Limitada, enables Irruptive Metals to advance the copper-gold exploration campaign on an accelerated timeline. Diamond drilling will target the Central zone of the Pimentón porphyry cluster to test geological continuity at depth and expand the known mineralized footprint laterally ahead of resource definition work.

The regulatory milestone follows Irruptive Metals' recent debut on the TSX Venture Exchange following the completion of its go-public transaction on July 22, 2026.

Trading activity rose following the environmental clearance, with the stock closing up 7.91% at $1.50. Volume reached 56,300 shares, marking a 1,491% increase over the 50-day average of 3,775 shares.

The exploration program unfolds against a broader copper backdrop, with the metal having posted a 9.31% increase over the 30-day period ending August 7, 2026. Within the wider regional district, Aldebaran Resources Inc. reported 1,339.30m of 0.45% copper equivalent at its Altar project.
