Irving Resources Inc. has launched its 2026 diamond drill program at the Omu gold-silver project in Hokkaido, Japan, deploying four drill rigs across the property.

One drill rig is testing shallow silica-rich gold-silver mineralization at the Nanko target within the Omui mining license. Two rigs are operating in the JX/Irving collaboration area within the Honpi mineralized zone at Omui, and a fourth rig is testing extensions of the Omu Sinter deposit.

Irving has filed an application to drill deeper holes at Omu Sinter to test a high-grade feeder discovered earlier this year, with approval expected within the next few weeks. Rigs completing the program at Nanko are scheduled to be repositioned to Omu Sinter upon permit approval. The deeper regime below a depth of approximately 50 metres below sea level at Omu Sinter is not subject to the JX option agreement and remains 100% controlled by Irving.
