IsoEnergy to Form US$505 Million Uranium Platform Through DISA Partnership
IsoEnergy has agreed to create a new U.S.-focused company, DISA Uranium, by contributing its portfolio of permitted uranium mines in Utah in exchange for a 33% equity stake. The transaction, which carries an implied pro forma equity value of approximately US$505 million, integrates IsoEnergy’s assets with the proprietary High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA™) processing technology and remediation business owned by DISA Technologies.
The deal is supported by US$105 million in committed private placement financing, with IsoEnergy contributing US$33 million of the total. These funds are earmarked for mine development, remediation programs, and the long-term goal of constructing a centralized uranium recycling and processing facility. Upon completion, the new company will be led by DISA chief executive Greyson Buckingham, with IsoEnergy’s Utah operations team transitioning to the new entity.
“The creation of DISA Uranium marks an important step in advancing IsoEnergy's strategy of building a globally diversified, development ready uranium platform.”
— Philip Williams, Chief Executive Officer and Director of IsoEnergy
“Together, recovered legacy material and a scaled conventional resource base give us the feedstock to bring to life a new domestic uranium recycling and processing facility, the missing link in rebuilding an independent American nuclear fuel supply.”
— Greyson Buckingham, Chief Executive Officer of DISA Uranium
The transaction, the associated US$105 million financing, and the required spin-out of DISA’s non-uranium business are all expected to close in August 2026. Completion remains subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
