Ivanhoe Mines Schedules Western Forelands Update and Webinar for September 8

Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. will release an operational and exploration update for its majority-owned Western Forelands Exploration Project before the market opens on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The company will host an investor webinar and question-and-answer session on the same day at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time and 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time to discuss the update. Participants can access the session through a designated online meeting link or via telephone using local Toronto numbers or North American toll-free lines with Conference ID 33298. An audio webcast recording and supporting presentation slides will subsequently be made available on the corporate website.

The upcoming news precedes a scheduled Mineral Resource upgrade for the Western Forelands expected later in September.

The Western Forelands project encompasses the Makoko District, which hosts substantial previously reported resources. Past estimates for the district comprise Indicated Mineral Resources of 27.7 million tonnes at 2.79% copper alongside Inferred Mineral Resources of 493.7 million tonnes at 1.70% copper.
