Japan Gold Completes CSAMT/AMT Geophysical Survey at Mizobe Project

Japan Gold Corp. has completed a 21.3 line-kilometre Controlled-Source Audio Magnetotellurics and natural source geophysical survey at the Mizobe Project in Kyushu, Japan, delivering comprehensive subsurface resistivity imaging across the property.

The completed survey represents the latest operational phase at the site, advancing beyond the initial geophysical framework outlined in May 2024. Japan Gold integrated the new resistivity data with gravity and magnetic inversion models, structural interpretations, and previous drilling programs completed at the property in 2023 and 2025.

The combined datasets generated a refined geological model of the property, enhancing the technical team's understanding of the local geological framework, key structures, and potential hydrothermal fluid pathways linked to gold mineralization beneath post-mineral volcanic cover.

Previous drilling at the property intersected significant hydrothermal alteration and gold mineralization beneath the volcanic cover, including an intercept of 10.0 metres grading 4.27 g/t gold from 122.75 metres in drill hole MZDD23-003. The Mizobe Project is located approximately 23 kilometres south of the Hishikari Mine, where more than 8.76 million ounces of gold have been produced since 1985 by Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd.

The enhanced geological model provides a foundational framework for upcoming exploration phases. Japan Gold intends to refine existing targets, identify additional high-priority drill locations, and finalize a multi-target drill program designed to systematically test prospective zones for concealed epithermal gold mineralization.
