Javelin Minerals Limited is scheduled to start an approximately 1,800-metre diamond drilling campaign on September 1, 2026, targeting two major intrusive gold-copper anomalies at the Coogee Gold Project in Western Australia.

Westralian Diamond Drilling of Kalgoorlie has been contracted for the six-week program, testing the Coogee North and Coogee West magnetic targets with holes drilled to depths between 800 and 1,000 metres. Both holes are co-funded by the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme.

The campaign follows a July 2026 update outlining third-quarter diamond plans. The deep holes are designed to evaluate large geophysical anomalies beneath shallow historical drilling that have never been tested by prior bedrock drilling.

Javelin previously completed a Phase 1 reverse circulation program in late 2024, returning high-grade intersections including 5 metres at 14.22 g/t gold and 4 metres at 1.91% copper in hole CORC163.

We are excited to be undertaking such an ambitious drill program. While conceptual in nature, these targets are of a size that could represent a significant mineralised system at depth.

— Mark Cossom, General Manager of Resources and Exploration

The upcoming drilling aims to establish the source of the magnetic anomalies and determine whether a large-scale system is present.
