Javelin Minerals Limited has commenced a diamond drilling program at the Coogee Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia to test two major intrusive targets at Coogee North and Coogee West.

The planned five to six-week campaign involves drilling two deep holes, each designed to reach depths between 800 and 1,000 metres. The work is being co-funded through the Western Australian Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme, with Westralian Diamond Drilling of Kalgoorlie contracted to execute the program.

Both targets are associated with proximal gold and copper anomalism identified in historic shallow drilling. The deep magnetic anomalies represent large-scale targets based on the magnetite component linked to alteration at Coogee North. Previous exploration at the site included a Phase 1 reverse circulation drilling program comprising 2,921 metres across 18 holes completed by Javelin in late 2024.

The Coogee deposit is situated on a granted Mining Lease located 55 kilometres south-east of Kalgoorlie. The Mineral Resource stands at 3,654,831 tonnes grading 1.08 g/t gold for 126,685 ounces of gold, alongside 1,017,606 tonnes at 0.41% copper for 4,122 tonnes of copper. This compares with an earlier estimate from August 2022 of 1,422,501 tonnes at 1.07 g/t gold for 49,034 ounces of gold.

“It's great to finally be underway with the drilling of these two ambitious holes. Javelin has been building these targets up and awaiting the ability to test them with diamond drilling. Javelin is grateful to the WA State Government for the co-funding of these holes, which given us the ability to undertake such bold exploration. While they are conceptual targets, the ir magnetic response is consistent with what we have seen in alteration minerals associated with gold - copper mineralisation at Coogee North, and there is extensive near - surface anomalism at both Coogee North and Coogee West. We look forward to keep ing Javelin shareholders updated with news as the program progresses .”

— Mark Cossom, General Manager of Resources and Exploration

The 5 to 6-week diamond drilling program is currently progressing as part of Javelin's ongoing evaluation of the Coogee North and Coogee West targets.
