Jupiter Mines Limited has initiated a leadership transition after Managing Director Brad Rogers notified the Board of his resignation to accept a chief executive role elsewhere.

Mr Rogers will remain as Managing Director until late November 2026 to focus on strategic outcomes, before being available in a consultancy capacity through February 2027.

The Board has appointed Matthew Jarvis as interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr Jarvis joined Jupiter in 2022 and brings 25 years of mining engineering experience across South Africa and Australia, including 16 years in the manganese sector. Based in Johannesburg, he previously supported operational improvement and mine planning at the Tshipi manganese mine.

Jupiter Chair Ian Murray noted that Mr Jarvis's extensive background in operations, mine planning, and business development made him a natural successor.

“With Matt's manganese industry experience and experience in operations, mine planning and business development, we have long considered Matt to be a strong successor to Brad. We are delighted that he will have this opportunity to step into the new role. I look forward to working closely with Matt as we continue to drive Jupiter's stated strategy forward.”

— Ian Murray, Jupiter Chair

Jupiter holds a 49.9% interest in Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining Proprietary Limited, which operates the Tshipi mine in the Kalahari manganese field.
