JZR Gold Inc. has shipped approximately 11 tonnes of gold concentrate from its Vila Nova Gold Project in Amapá State, Brazil, with the material currently in transit toward an expected arrival in São Paulo on September 17, 2026.

The shipment marks a fresh operational milestone following JZR’s assumption of direct operatorship of the project on May 28, 2026, when the company took over day-to-day plant operations, staffing, and production performance from previous operator ECO Mining.

Following that transition, JZR secured mining contractor RR Bueno, which has fully mobilized its fleet to site to move material from active mining areas to the processing plant. In August, the company established a regular operating schedule consisting of one eight-hour shift per day, Monday through Friday.

During this initial operating period, the processing team encountered equipment failures and operational issues that required repairs and component replacements. JZR has since addressed those hurdles and considers that the operation has stabilized, allowing the team to evaluate opportunities to increase operating hours, improve plant efficiency, and lift processed material volumes.

The Vila Nova project is designed to process approximately 9 million tonnes of historical gold tailings grading 2.7 grams per tonne, representing over 700,000 ounces of contained gold.

The company's immediate priorities involve increasing plant operating hours, improving plant reliability, maintaining a consistent supply of material from the property, and continuing to optimize the overall processing circuit.
