K2 Gold Corporation has reported initial drill results from the Mojave Project in Inyo County, California, returning 39.62m at 5.35 g/t Au from 51.82m down hole in hole DF26-020 at the Dragonfly Zone.

The first three holes from site DF-A represent a 40-metre step-out north into previously untested ground from the company's 2020 discovery intercepts. Hole DF26-019 intersected 10.67m at 7.75 g/t Au from 16.76m, while hole DF26-018 returned 18.29m at 3.77 g/t Au from 27.43m. All three holes collared in a previously unknown gold zone with grades up to 0.96 g/t Au, and true widths of the mineralized structures remain unknown at present.

K2 holds a 100% interest in the over 6,000-hectare oxide gold property. The current campaign represents the largest drill program ever undertaken on the project, backed by a positive Record of Decision issued in early 2026 by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management approving exploration drilling across up to 22 sites. Field work is supported by a $9.8 million 2026 exploration budget approved by the Board of Directors following a C$25.25 million financing closed in February 2026.

Fifteen holes totaling 2,630m have been completed to date out of the planned 14,000m campaign. Assay results for 12 additional completed holes at Dragonfly are currently pending. Once work at Dragonfly concludes, the drill rig will move to the Newmont target at the southern extent of the Eastside Gold Trend.
