K2 Gold Corporation has returned high-grade silver, gold, and copper assay results from 613 surface rock samples collected at the Morningstar target within its Mojave Project in Inyo County, California.

The sampling program, conducted across the H Zone, B Zone, Ignacio, and newly identified R-Zone targets, outlined widespread polymetallic mineralization across the 2,000-metre by 800-metre mineralized corridor. Out of the total sample set, 232 samples yielded greater than 0.10 g/t gold, 96 samples exceeded 10 g/t silver, and 66 samples returned over 0.2% copper.

Highlights from the Ignacio target included sample C0105155, which graded 2,737 g/t silver, 4.37 g/t gold, and 2.42% copper, alongside sample C0105158, which returned 1,420 g/t silver, 7.44 g/t gold, and 1.34% copper. At the R Target, sample C0105366 returned 618 g/t silver and 23.2% copper. Additional highlights included the H-Zone target, which yielded 5.84 g/t gold, 38 g/t silver, and 1.32% copper from sample 606439, and the B-Zone target, which returned 4.93 g/t gold, 74 g/t silver, and 0.62% copper from sample 606453.

K2 holds a 100% interest in the Mojave Project, a 6,000-hectare oxide gold property encompassing a 10-kilometre by 10-kilometre system of gold-dominant polymetallic mineralization. Previous operators completed approximately 15,000 metres of drilling across Morningstar, identifying significant gold mineralization across the H Zone, B Zone, and Ignacio areas.

“The Morningstar area is an exciting component of the broader exploration story at our Mojave Project in California. Its proximity to the historic Cerro Gordo Mine, combined with the scale of the mineralized corridor, high-grade gold, silver and copper values, and multiple styles of mineralization associated with a well-defined structural and intrusive setting, make Morningstar a particularly compelling target area. These results provide K2 with an opportunity to rapidly advance a series of prospective polymetallic drill targets alongside our ongoing exploration of the broader Mojave system”

— Anthony Margarit, President and CEO of K2 Gold

K2 is advancing its ongoing exploration pipeline following a C$25.25 million financing closed in February 2026. The company's drill program at the Mojave Project is scheduled to continue for the remainder of 2026.
